Our approach

The IIRCF adopts an approach based on **needs, relevance and the transformation of learning into practical skills**. Each intervention is designed around needs on the ground and delivered with a view to achieving measurable progress.

How we go about it

Five steps, in this order

Assessing needs

To accurately identify skills gaps, institutional priorities and the specific requirements of each professional environment.

Designing tailored solutions

To develop training programmes, content and schemes based on rigorous instructional design, quality standards and methods tailored to the profiles of the participants.

Train and support

To draw on specialist expertise, rigorous teaching methods and tailored learning formats in order to enhance professional competence and the ability to take action.

Turning knowledge into practice

To link learning to the realities of the workplace in order to facilitate its application in roles, responsibilities and institutional processes.

Assessing and consolidating the results

To assess what has been learnt, evaluate progress and analyse the outcomes, with a view to ensuring that skills development forms part of a process of continuous improvement.

Beyond transmission

This approach enables the IIRCF to go beyond simply imparting knowledge: each training programme must lead to an increase in expertise, improved practices and enhanced institutional performance.
