An illustration of our approach

Our approach

From needs analysis to sustainably strengthened capacities

Working meeting between the heads of an organisation
Starting point

Start with the organisation’s current situation

Every organisation has its own priorities, constraints, business lines and levels of maturity. The IIRCF therefore tailors its interventions based on a detailed understanding of the situation, in order to propose an approach that is suited to the desired outcomes and the capabilities that actually need to be developed.

The approach

Six steps, in this order

Diagnose

To understand needs, gaps, existing practices and areas where capacity needs to be strengthened.

Prioritise

Identify the key issues and the skills or mechanisms that need to be addressed as a priority.

Design

To develop a system tailored to the roles, responsibilities, target audiences and objectives of the organisation.

Develop and support

To strengthen skills, develop practices and support their implementation in real-life work situations.

Forward

To pass on methods, tools and expertise to the teams in order to strengthen the organisation’s autonomy.

Assess and consolidate

To measure progress, identify areas for improvement and ensure that the achievements are sustained over the long term.

An initiative designed to have an impact beyond the training itself

The IIRCF does not limit its support to the transfer of knowledge. The approach aims to build capacity that can be effectively utilised in the workplace, to encourage the adoption of new practices, and to enable organisations to continue their progress beyond the intervention.
